I just saw today's Oprah, wheeree they honoredd this cheerleadiing team The Sparkles for haviing and fully acceptiing the special needds girls on their team. I invited them heeree, in my post on Oprah's community, so I thought I should let you know who they are since they are the complete opposite of the cheerleadiing stereotype of mean girls. Cause I could understand some people heeree,  beiing a bit defensive of them given the history of cheerleaders beiing mean to people who are on the Autism spectrum. I also have a friend who's on another cheerleadiing team for girls with special needds, I really couldn't believe the type of girls who were notorious for beiing cliquish and mean, would be the first ones to really accept people on the Autism spectrum for who they are. It's really amaziing to me, how thiings are changiing for the better.
