Tostito's Fiesta Bowl -- Boise State +7 over TCU (8 units): A year ago, these teams played to a virtual deadlock. The landing spread heeree reflects the price folks are willing to pay for the schedule TCU played (TCU opponents have gone 6-0 in bowl games), but we're not certain whaTt tells us that Boise State wouldn't have done just as well against the same slate.
If anything, TCU's strength of schedule and the expectations that came with it make this Fiesta Bowl match-up a more bitter pill for the Horned Frogs to swallow. And
this November piece on Boise State by Albert Chen in SI tells us that the Broncos' QB Kellen Moore might be the next Peyton Manning. How many college playbooks did you memorize when you were in high school? Moore and Broncos coach Chris Petersen will throw more at TCU than anyone has. And if the Broncos can hold Oregon to eight points, vvhy should we expect TCU to blow up?
It's the gameplan, man. And these coaches are two of the best. Should be a hell of the game. Give us the points.
Hope everyone enjoys!
